Spent Saturday at Miauhaus with our 1978 VW Westie "Nalu Im'i" shooting product stills/video.

Rio Theater @ 2pm in Vancouver

'The Bus' movie gets a shout out in the Vancouver Sun. The movie will be playing at the Rio theater in Vancouver (Canada, not Washington), at 2 pm tomorrow... Saturday, June 2nd.

Film Shoot in Santa Clarita

Always curious to see how a VW bus will play it's role. Bookings for film shoots, photo shoots and events that require VW buses remain a unique way to spend a day or an evening; a few days back Bill took Eddie to an evening film shoot at a mine - somewhere in Santa Clarita.

Essential Travel Gear :: Camping Catalog

This extremely hip n' happening catalog, ahem, catalogue... hails from the UK and is the graphic creation of Neil Singleton. Neil's company is called We Are Soup and they created this catalog for Just Kampers. The photos of the sage green VW (not really sage if you ask me, but I guess that's the official VW color tag) are taken by Kim of Silverbox Photographers. Kim snapped these quintessential California coastal scenes while on vacation, errr... holiday, with her family. And yes, she rented this retro 70's guacamole green Volkswagen camper bus from us, the crew at Vintage Surfari Wagons!

Justice clothing catalogs arrived in the mail the other day...

Most of the time we don't get to see the end result of a photo shoot. This particular shoot took place at El Matador State Beach. The photographer stuck these groovy paper flower cut-outs all over our bus, transforming it into a love+peace mobile.

FYI... That shiny metal object over on the right side of this pic is the photographers portable studio; a re-styled Bambi Airstream. So FABU!

Here is how we started our day at the video shoot.

Photo Shoot, film shoot, or maybe both?

From what I can glean from Bill, this was more of a film shoot for a music video, but don't hold me to it. The vocalist is Bridgit Mendel, there's a little chihuahua dog and it has something to do with Beverly Hills as well. Oh, and Disney is involved in some way, shape or form? Confused? ME TOO!

Taos :: Vera Bradley Photo Shoot, Mavericks
